10 The followers asked Jesus, "Why do the scribes say that Elijah should come before the Messiah?"
11Jesus answered, "They are telling the truth," Elijah is coming, and he will adjust everything.
12 But I tell you, Elijah has come. They did not recognize him, but as they wished, they did it, and so must the Son of Man suffer. "
13 The followers understood that Jesus was talking about John the Baptist.
